A few years I wrote an article called Don't Blink. I've updated it dozens of times since then. Here's the latest version.
Before you look, here are a couple of observations:
- I don't think Microsoft gets it. Its about sharing, collaborating and working together, not about platforms, software and market share.
- Blogging is an exciting and easy way to communicate but keep in mind that it was invented in the early age of computing. Easy is not always most effective. A blog is about a message. If the message is good, the blog will be a winner
- Blogs like mine, in which the blogger posts irregularly, will not generate readers. People will notice that the content is stagnant and start to skip looking. If you want a blog that is read, post every day. Perfect for teachers who teach every day.
